When I first met Kelly, she was a particpant in my 10 Pregnant Ladies project which formed part of the 4 Generations exhibition in March.

A couple of weeks later and I was photographing Kelly again in the studio in all her maternal gorgeousness! We also did a shoot on location (location shoots are free for Mums who book a newborn shoot with me)

Sleepover awed audiences around the world!

Last year this photograph by Richard Barry was seen around the world with newspapers, magazines TV and online sites all clamoring to find out how the shot was done.

This year, Richard is working on yet another high-profile project that will be sure to make international headlines and we need your newborn to make it happen to raise as much money for charity as possible.

Richard is teaming up with another high-profile Australian photographer and needs at least twelve newborn babies less than 14-days old for the shoot to work.

More information will be revealed closer to the time of the shoot which will be taking place at the Pop Studio in West Leederville but what we can reveal here and now is that the shoot looks like it will take place in July/August and every cent raised will be going to two charities – yet to be announced.

If you are having a baby between July and August 2012 and you would like your bubb to feature in what is sure to be one of the most incredible photo-shoots ever seen, you need to get in touch!

My Facebook fans are already mailing me their details but because we have no firm dates for the shoot, we’ll need as many supportive mums as possible on the list just in-case bubbs decide to come early (or late!!!).

The only hint I will give away right now is that if you don’t like animals, this isn’t the shoot for you

Oh and whilst I appreciate that you all want to know details of the shoot, I won’t be sending out any more information than is on this post, so no point pleading with me in emails for details!!! (although I must say some of you guys really do some EXPERT pleading!!)

I’m so excited about this, as is the other photographer I’m teaming up with so please, let us know the dates for your bubbs arrival as soon as you can. I promise you, you will be absolutely blown over with what we have planned.

Are you an expert at juggling a million things and an organisation guru?!?!?!

Yes, I am now officially looking for a part-time assistant to help me get through the days when the administration gets in the way of the photography I love so much.

If you are able to work between 1 and 3 days-a-week, as required, have a love of all things administrative and at least two-years experience in PR/marketing with a relevant degree or higher education diploma, I would like to hear from you.

The role is varied and for the most part, you’ll be working with me either over Skype from your home, or at my place in Subiaco.

You will very definitely need to be an expert on Facebook, a genius with Adobe InDesign and an absolute organisation guru! You also need to be full of ideas and able to work well with all sorts of technology. Oh and you love pressure!

This is NOT a photography role, so if you’re an aspiring photographer, this isn’t the job for you. I need someone who can organise the nerve-centre of RBP while I am out photographing my ever-growing client-base.

The World’s Biggest Playgroup Day was everything we knew it would be: Fun, Fun and yes… more FUN!!

Thousands turned out for the day including Fat Cat, a funny wee lizard called ‘Izzy!’ and a brilliant band who sang all afternoon to the adoring kids who danced, sang and generally made every second last.

It was a brilliant day and a huge congrats to the amazing team at Playgroup WA for their dedication and brilliance in making this the most memorable day out for the little ones on Perth’s calendar.

I had the huge priviiege of being the official photographer and apart from getting a very sunburned head, I had a cracking time, as did my wife and Judy who manned my very first stall.

Well done everyone… Can’t wait for next year’s now!
